Beatrice is a professional skateboarder known for her effortless style, fearless approach, and ability to blend technical skill with a distinct sense of individuality. 


Early Life & Skate Journey

What first drew you to skateboarding, and what did it represent to you at that time?

"I was 5 years old. Its was picture day.. I saw a skateboard there on the room and it kind of just called. It just represented fun. I wanted to be like the kids on rocket power."

 

Breaking into a global heritage brand isn’t easy, what challenges did you face entering that space?

"I honestly cant answer this question, I am just myself so I think people see that can respect it."

 


 

Style, Creativity & Identity

How much does fashion and personal style intersect with your identity as a skater?

"Skateboarding and fashion are like you left and right hand. One had washes the other they just go together.. Real bad. Haha"

 

Outside of skating, what creative outlets inspire you? 

"Reading books, walking around different cities I travel too, falling in love, listening to people talk, painting."

 

 

"I think I am here. Like I'm here to show people if you love something, have passion and work hard you can make your dreams come true."

 

Representation & Cultural Impact

As one of the few Black women at the highest level of skateboarding, how do you view your role in the culture?

"I think I am here. Like I'm here to show people if you love something, have passion and work hard you can make your dreams come true. My role is just that. I'm existing."

 

 

What does it mean to you when young skaters say you’ve inspired them?

"So MUCH! 'Cause I was once that kid. It means alot cause I know when I told my favourite pro that I really meant that, they meant the world to me at the time. I take it seriously!"

 


 

Brand Work & Collaborations

What’s been your favourite project or campaign so far, and why?

"Getting to design 7 shoes with vans, that has been so unreal. I'm so blessed, making the video for my latest show OTW one was the best, I got to go home and showcase my grandma."

 

"Just give me my flowers. Before I die. But that's probably too much to ask. Just remember i had really good kickflips."

 

How do you balance staying true to skate culture while engaging with global brands?

"I love skateboarding, that's how I stay true to it.. It's literally still my favourite thing to do. It makes me so happy."

 

 

Mindset & Future

What keeps you motivated after achieving so much already?

"I have ADHD. untreated lol… I can't sit still. And I always want to make my mum proud."

 

How do you want your skate legacy to be remembered?

" just give me my flowers. Before I die. But that's probably too much to ask. Just remember i had really good kickflips."
